Remote Sensing Science
We provide scientific and software engineering support to Level-1 and Level-2 product processing on all missions at EUMETSAT. Our expertise is in:
- Prototyping Level-1B and Level-2 processors
- Development and maintenance of products processing facility under operational environment
- Support for installation and operation of instrument data simulators and Level-1B prototype processors
- Support for Level-2 processors procurement verification, including the provision of test datasets
- Level-2 product monitoring and development of specific tools
- Scientific support for algorithms development
- Publication and update of scientific and technical documentation
- Support for data reprocessing activities
- Participation in scientific and technical reviews
We provide support to the monitoring of quality and reprocessing of weather data products at EUMETSAT. This includes:
- Development, implementation and verification of product monitoring tools on various Earth observation missions
- Support to the reprocessing and review activities
- Maintain product processor in the operational domain
